Dear Sir: The Alumni Council. which has hitherto kept the most accurate record at Wesleyan concerning her sons in the service, is entrusted with the task of compiling a more complete war ser- vice record than exists up to date. We are sending you. there- fore, a questionnaire which has been very carefully prepared to cover as far as possible all lines of service.
