This work describes the synthetic parameters of the novel rocaglate cis-OBM. Using a novel in silico methodology, we explore the mechanism of action of cis-OBM and related molecules and implicate a potential binding site at the polypurine RNA and eIF4A3 interface. We strengthen our proposed model with western blots and other molecular biology techniques.
