Davison collection
The Davison collection of printed books ranges from incunables to fine press printing, focusing on English literature, early print, and monuments in the history of the book. It was assembled by George W. Davison, Class of 1892, and his wife, and donated to Wesleyan in the 1950s. For digitization, we prioritize items with unique alterations and histories, such as our 1497 copy of Stultifera Navis annotated during the French Revolution.
