These interviews were conducted between July 2015 and September 2016 by Mark Slobin. He interviewed graduate-program alumni of Wesleyan's World Music/Ethnomusicology and Experimental Composition programs — deliberately limited to alumni born or working abroad (Ghana, Japan, Malaysia, Brazil, Pakistan, the UK, and beyond). The recordings were deposited in the World Music Archives and the transcripts of those interviews are shared here.
